What is terminal?
It’s about Zombies. Groaning, moaning, maddened flesh eating abominations driven by their insensate desire to feed.
Zombies, a metaphor for a struggle we face every day. A metaphor for our hopeless battle against the savage throng of the human tide… an ocean of grasping hands, tearing, ripping, desecrating what you have, who you are. We struggle to keep our heads above the surface, to hold briefly some virtuous, buoyant hope… but no one can tread water forever.
When, deadened with fatigue, we slip below the surface, we too, are assimilated into the mass. We too, become just another zombie, not really living… merely plodding one day to the next, grasping for what we can.
Humanity is terminal, and this story is about our struggle, to become something better. To survive long enough, to venture far enough, to live hard enough, so that we can break free. To find peace. To live.
Set in an all to close apocalyptic future, this web novel ventures to tell a story of survival and a life lived after all the luxuries of today have been stripped away. When, after we have lost everything, we truly begin to live.
Stay tuned for updates every Sunday.
What people are saying about Terminal
“I could care less about zombies, I am not entertained by apocolyptic speculations, nor am I entrained by ideations with no grounding in real world possibility…..having said that – I find myself entrapped within the storyline, seduced by the confessions of the narrator’s innermost thoughts and continually stimulated by the vibrant, albeit dark descripters that transform a simple sentence into a 3-dimensional, multi-sensual experience. I’m loving this ride, when does the light turn green for chapter two?”- Dr.L.Hron
“Always nice to find another well written zombie work. XD Poor Kira… Sunday is waayy too far away. Too be perfectly honest, while the rest of this story seems flawless so far, I hate the prologue and almost didn’t bother reading the rest of the story. Luckily I did (again LOVE the first chapter), but the prologue was confusing and didn’t make much sense at first.”- Anna
“This is amazing!!! You rock!!” – Kathi Mulcahy
